Supramolecular Chemistry
Focus:

Micro- and nanocapsules, as wel as micro- and nanoparticle assemblies formed using specific supramolecular interactions between building blocks such as polymers and nanoparticles

Method:

Projects involve synthesis of metal nanoparticles and polymers functionalized with appropriate molecular recognition units. Techniques/tools such as emulsion templation, light scattering, microscopic analysis of formation and disruption are employed.
